Who I am
This site is operated by Bella Forbes, an independent online fitness coach based in Austin, Texas. If you have questions about this policy or want to exercise your rights, email fit.bellaforbes@gmail.com.
What I collect and why

Consultation form data. When you submit a consultation request, I collect your name, email, optional phone number, fitness goals, and any preferred call times you share. This is used to respond to your request and schedule your free consultation.

Partial form leads. If you complete step one of the form (name + email) but don't finish, that information is saved so I can follow up. You can ask me to delete it at any time.

IP address. Stored alongside form submissions for spam and rate-limiting purposes only.

Analytics. If you consent, I use Google Analytics 4 to count page views, track which sections of the site are seen, and measure how many people complete the consultation form. No personal information from the form is sent to Google.

Session recordings. If you consent, Microsoft Clarity records anonymized session replays of your visit so I can see where the site is confusing. Form fields are masked by default — your name, email, and goals are never recorded as text.

Email delivery. Confirmation and notification emails are sent through Resend. Your email address and the email body are processed by Resend solely to deliver the message.
Lawful basis (GDPR / UK GDPR)
- Consultation requests: taking steps at your request prior to entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and my legitimate interest in operating the business (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Analytics and session recording: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw at any time.
- Spam/rate-limiting: my legitimate interest in keeping the site usable (Art. 6(1)(f)).
How long I keep your data
- Consultation requests and partial leads: retained until you ask me to delete them, or until the coaching relationship ends plus three years (whichever is longer).
- Analytics data: Google Analytics retains user-level data for 14 months, then automatically deletes it. Aggregated reports are kept indefinitely.
- Session recordings: Microsoft Clarity retains recordings for 30 days.
Your rights
If you're in the EEA, UK, or California, you have the right to:
- Access the data I hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent for analytics at any time (use the "Cookie settings" link in the footer)
- Object to processing or request restriction
- Receive a copy of your data in a portable format
- Lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority

I don't sell your personal information. If you'd like me to stop sharing analytics data with Google or Microsoft, click "Cookie settings" in the footer and choose to opt out, or email me directly. I won't discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.

Updates to this policy
I'll update this page if I change how data is collected or used. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. Substantive changes will be flagged on the homepage for at least 30 days.
